The young Leonese poet Lara Painter Cascón (Valencia de Don Juan, 1995) will present this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Cultural Area Room of El Corte Inglés (Sixth Floor) his work ‘It’s 12:01’a collection of poems written under the vision and admiration of a girl towards the woman she was going to be one day until, when she became that dreamed woman, the woman asked the girl she was to never lose her essence or her ability to dream.

In her presentation, Lara will be accompanied by the doctoral student from the University of Leon Raul Barrientos and will recite some of the poems from the book for the attendees.

Lara Pintor Cascón has a degree in Geography and Territorial Planning and a master’s degree in Natural Risks, areas of knowledge in which she develops her professional career in fields such as cartography or the . However, since she was a child she has been interested in literature and especially poetry, which led her to share her creations on her Instagram account @LaraPintorCascon and she ended up catching the attention of the editor of the ‘Achilles Heel’ stamp.

After some first presentations in his town, Valencia of Don Juanand in the towns of her parents, Matadeón de los Oteros and Toral de los Guzmanes, Lara Pintor Cascón now wants to bring her poems closer to all the people of León with the recital she will offer this Thursday at El Corte Inglés.

‘It’s 12:01’ is a journey of emotions that tells a story through all the loves that a person can have, emphasizing self-love.
