The crew of the Ryanair plane diverted to Palma asked the police for helpDM

Last weekend the attack on a stewardess by a group of drunk passengers caused a flight from Dublin to Ibiza to be diverted to Palm. It all happened around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, when from the Palma airport were notified that a passenger on a Ryanair plane needed medical assistance. Quickly, the relevant services, including the Civil Guard, got underway to receive flight RYR9177/FR9177, which had departed at 9:40 a.m. from the Irish capital.

The airline confirmed yesterday to this newspaper that “the flight was diverted to Palma after a small group of passengers began to disturb on board.” He also added that “the crew asked the police for help and that the plane was received by the Local Police upon arrival in Palma, who removed said passengers” before this flight continued on the planned itinerary and finally landed in Ibiza.

Witnesses to what happened, however, claim that it was The Civil Guard intervened and arrested the group of passengers who attacked the stewardess.
