ALICANTE. Free way for the growth of the hotel plant or buildings for administrative use in the surroundings of the Euipo: the European (EU) agency dedicated to the protection of intellectual property. The government team of the Alicante City Council, of the Popular Party (PP), approved this Tuesday at the weekly meeting of the Local Board the fourth modification of the Aguamarga Partial Plan by which the pre-existing limit is eliminated and the use of the 15,000 square meters of buildable area provided for in the CH block is protected of that area for the development of new hotel, commercial or office uses.

The adjustment of the Partial Plan is adopted from the initiative formulated six years ago by one of the Vallalba Group companies, Promotora Alicante of Urbanization and Construction, after all the required sectoral reports have been collected, with a favorable resolution. The agreement thus allows said plot, identified with the code CH and located in front of the corporate headquarters of Construcciones Hormigones Martínez (CHM), the parent company of the Vallalba Groupcan accommodate the construction of a new establishment dedicated to accommodation that can complement the service already provided by two other nearby hotels: the Hotel Ibis Alicante and the B&B Hotel Alicante.

Project under reformulation

In fact, the same Alicante Urbanization and Construction Developer presented a first project for the construction of a hotel four stars and 72 rooms in that location in 2019. For its management, Ágora Suites reached an agreement with Eurostars, which operates its 20 apartments through its Tandem Suites brand.
