The mayor of Pamplona, ​​Joseba Asiron, met this morning with the president of the Navarra Federation of Municipalities and Councils (FNMC), Xabier Alcuaz. The meeting took place in the Mayor’s Office of the Town Hall and addressed topics such as the needs of the Erripagaña neighborhood to determine its future and the importance of a unified position of the Navarrese municipalities in relation to the 0-3 educational cycle, among others. affairs.

Regarding the demands of the Erripagaña neighborhood, Asiron transferred the requests of the residents to Alcuaz, who request not only the corresponding facilities, but also an administrative solution for the future of the neighborhood, currently divided into four different municipalities (Pamplona, ​​Burlada, Huarte and Egüés Valley). In the application submitted to the Pamplona City Council, the neighborhood asks to actively participate in the process. The mayor explained to Alcuaz the actions that the City Council is carrying out in this regard, such as the preparation of reports on the implications of a single municipality assuming full responsibility for the neighborhood. In addition, work is being done on a popular consultation process that must be agreed upon with the other three municipalities, as well as on the planning of the facilities that, according to the current distribution, would correspond to Pamplona, ​​such as a Civivox.

In relation to the 0-3 educational cycle, both leaders, after examining the latest developments, stressed the importance of the Navarra Federation of Municipalities and Councils reaching an agreement on a common position of all municipalities in defense of the municipal network of daycare centers. children.
