This is what Cañizares has stated in statements to journalists, in which he has been “cautious” regarding the details of the agreement, which in his opinion, should be given when it is practically closed, “because here it is not only about political will, but rather a budget availability that has to be reflected in a series of items and all those technical details are what are going to be finalized throughout this week,” he stated.

However, the vice mayor has celebrated that, with this agreement, “a tricky issue that we have been dealing with for some time” can be put to an end, due to an agreement that was adopted by the previous government team and that, according to the auditor’s reports, , “was not invested with total legality,” Cañizares pointed out.

And she has been convinced that the police, “who have always worked well, are now going to do it even more” as their payroll recognizes the work they had been doing in terms of preparing their work teams that they carried out outside the police force. your work schedule.

The Local Police Headquarters

On the other hand, when asked about the Local Police headquarters, Cañizares described as “excellent” the work being carried out by the government team in the sense of providing a solution “to issues that have been entrenched for many years” like this one.

And, in this sense, he has advanced that they have carried out a study that determines that the facilities on Denmark Street are appropriate “from the technical point of view and what the building is” to house the Police headquarters, while that until now in this matter “only smoke had been sold, but there was no technical report to justify it.”

Finally, he pointed out that it is necessary to see if this solution is economically viable and, if so, the barracks will be completed in the current legislature.
